Forklift Fork Extensions for Long Load Handling
Secure Loop-Style DesignThe loop-style end helps keep each fork extension properly retained on the existing fork during use. Installation is straightforward: insert the loop at the fork tip, slide the extension up at an angle, and lower it over the fork. Warning and operating labels are included to support safe, consistent use by forklift operators. Durable Steel ConstructionWelded steel construction provides dependable strength for demanding warehouse, shipping, receiving, and manufacturing applications. Select sizes feature cast steel tips, while larger styles use a tapered cut front end for easier load entry. A baked-in powder coat finish, available in yellow or black depending on model, adds toughness for everyday industrial use. Sizes, Capacity, and ComplianceThis family includes options for 4 inch, 5 inch, and 6 inch wide forks, with usable lengths ranging from 42 inches to 96 inches. Maximum uniform capacity is 4,000 lb. per pair, evenly distributed. Fork extensions do not increase forklift load center ratings, and OSHA guidelines require extensions to be no more than 150 percent of the existing fork length (e.g. 48" existing forks, the fork extension should not exceed 72").
